Description: Recroot UK are seeking an Air Travel Coordinator to join our prestigious client, a global shipping company based at their Glasgow offices. Industry innovation and a progressive business approach have ensured the continued performance of this successful company and this role is available due to company expansion. You role will involve working within a small team tasked with managing the travel requirements for vessels and crew and the core tasks of this role will involve managing flight, car hire and hotel reservations, raising Invoices and credit notes, monitoring travel costs whilst always striving to obtain lowest applicable fares. You will ensure that client relationships are pro-actively developed by continually improving the level of service provided in accordance with the Service level agreements and act as a client interface on all travel related issues. In addition, you will carry out ad hoc administration and tasks, as required.The successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 2 years experience of carrying out a similar role within the travel industry, and experience of Galileo software is vital. You must have a strong team focus together with strong administration, communication and interpersonal skills and display full working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
