Description: My client is a leading business travel and conference company, currently seeking a Conference Consultant to join their busy, professional team, based in Northampton city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with solid experience in one or more of the following sectors: hotel reservations, hotel reception, conference reservations, retail travel or tour operations. You will be progressing your career into the world of business travel, conference and events with a major industry player!!! Your duties will include taking enquiries from corporate clients regarding all their conference and meeting needs. You will then source accommodation, meeting rooms and venues on their behalf. Negotiating rates and confirming bookings are also part of this busy role which will see you offer excellent customer service. As well as experience in the aforementioned areas, the successful candidate will be organised, pro-active, an good communicator and administrator.
