Description: Working for a major distributor of automobile parts within Swindon, they are looking for a Quality Control Technician paying a salary of £17 - £18k depending on experience.Responsibilities:* Carry out supplier assessments on a regular basis* Ensure supplier assessments records and files are kept up to date* Visit suppliers and carry out audits when required to improve the quality of information and service* Work with sales to ensure that new products are started up smoothly and the customer receives the product they wantPerson Specification:* Experience within a Quality Control environment essential* Has undertaken complex testing of goods and materials for problem solving purposes* Has prepared QA documentation relating to Goods In inspection* Excellent communicator* Good PC Skills including Microsoft Word and Excel* Proven ability to build relationshipsInterviews immediately!
