Description: The Company Robert Half Finance and Accounting have been engaged by this well known logistics/shipping company who are currently seeking a Financial Controller. The Role Main duties include: Control / management of Cash flow; Producing monthly management reports reporting to the group; Producing Annual statutory accounts year end 31st December / June 2007 is next deadline; Supervision of one Accounts Assistant They seek a qualified individual who has the ability to produce both management and statutory accounts, who has a can-do attitude and is happy to review current processes and implement change where necessary. Although previous experience within the shipping industry is not required, they have expressed that experience of finance leases would be highly advantageous. Salary & Benefits Salary for this role is circa £35,000 to £45,000 with some excellent benefits such as flexible working hours, pension, life assurance, income protection and 25 days holiday per year.
