Description: Field Sales Executive - TelecomsOur client has decided to get closer to local business communities by bringing products and services their doorstep. Theyhave opened a network of independent Local Businesses across the UK -fellow SMEs who understand others needs. This network has theflexibility and personal touch that only small local businesses candeliver. This is Field Sales role and the job holder isrequired to be a self-reliant salesperson that will be responsible fordelivering the sales order intake targets by executing the entire salesprocess. Face to face customer meetings will form a key part of thisrole. This position has an OTE of £60,000 Uncapped CommissionRole Responsibilities:• To help establish our client as the primary supplier of telecoms & IT products & services to the accounts in the nominated territory. • To manage effectively the relationship between our client and the customer accounts within the nominated territory. •To achieve a high level of new business sales from the accounts withinthe nominated territory in order to exceed the sales order intaketarget. • To pro-actively contact accounts within the nominatedterritory to qualify sales opportunities via the telephone and toarrange prepared face to face sales meetings and demonstrations. •To deliver effective presentations both face-to-face and in writingincorporating own sales skills.. Whilst continually updating productknowledge. • To demonstrate the BT Versatility, BCM and the CiscoCME telephone systems to prospective customers in order to close salesopportunities. • To manage an opportunity pipeline and provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts to the Communications management. • To use effective time management to ensure sales targets are exceeded and excellent customer service is provided. Role Requirements: • Ability to establish and develop systems and relationships which support the delivery of world class customer service. • Ability to plan and organise commitments to meet agreed objectives and deadlines. • Can express views and opinions consistently, using behaviour that does not infringe the rights of others. • Can understand and interpret numerical and statistical data to make informed decisions and take appropriate information. •Can implement effective systems to carry out administration withouteffecting core selling time, to maintain transparent & accessiblefiling system that team members can easily access customer records. • Able to plan and execute strategy for exceeding targets and KPI’s. Able to plan workload to meet deadlines. •Able to adopt a planned work approach which is efficient, andconcentrates on getting the task completed to a defined qualitystandard and within budgetary constraints • Able to convince others of a point using a variety of persuasion styles appropriate to the situation. • Generate new, business related ideas through lateral or non-linear methods of thinking.
