Description: My client is looking for someone with solid customer facing programme management experience. You will be required to operate at senior levels with licensees and strategic partners. You will have prior hands on experience as an embedded software engineer working down to device driver level. You will have managed large scales software heavy developments, preferably mobile phones / mobile handsets or something similar for example - set top boxes or mobile infrastructure. You must be comfortable working with semiconductor companies, which will require a technical background in embedded software engineering, prior to having moved into project management. You must be able to demonstrate a proven record of successfully managing complex mobile handset developments or similar projects, expertly delegate work/responsibility, and an ability to work effectively at a reasonably detailed level with engineers across a wide range of technical domains. As a key internal and external interface, programme managers must also demonstrate excellent communication and customer-facing skills. You will have experience leading multiple projects or significant sub-projects with a distributed development team for the equivalent of one full development life-cycle, mobile phone software development technical or project management experience, experience negotiating project Statements of Work or detailed scope statements, multi-site and third party software supplier management ?
