Description: Field Engineer (Telecoms) - South LondonBasic salary £30-35k + Standby + Benefits (including company vehicle, tools, mobile and laptop) A new vacancy for a Field Engineer with top telecoms engineering specialist. The Company is part of a major telecoms Group offering a wide range of services to leading telecommunications operators, equipment manufacturers and carriers; it has a turnover in excess of £200 million and employs staff across the UK and Europe.The main purpose of the Field Engineer role will be to deliver high quality engineering solutions designed to meet or exceed customer expectation in the field, and to provide comprehensive technical support and problem resolution. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 yrs experience working in a similar role in the telecoms industry and have solid technical skills acquired through relevant training and experience. Specific engineering skills must include most or all or the following: -Experience - MW installation & Commissioning experience- Multiplexing experience- Newbridge experience- SDH experience- Telephony- Telemetry- UHF Radio systemsQualifications- Substation access & working accreditations - Central Networks & National Grid- AC/DC Power systems, qualified electrician or from that backgroundAdditional training will be provided for the successful candidate with plenty of scope for personal development and career advancement within the Group; this is an outstanding opportunity for a talented telecoms engineering professional now looking to take their career to the next level.
