Description: South Yorkshire based Cisco client of mine is recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to add value by being part of all Network Operations from design through to implementation and support. This is a very varied role and involves all aspects of the product life cycle. The client in question are a well-respected local employer and from a networking perspective use Cisco products. You will need to be experienced in OSPF, BGP and general IP Routing - including exposure to both LAN and WAN. The client estimate that the role will be split almost equally between design based work, implementing design that would improve the network infrastructure then the high level 3rd line support for issues that the Network Engineers fail to resolve. The role is in South Yorkshire and is easily commutable from the likes of Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster and even as far as Nottingham and Bradford. Close to the M1 and A1.
