Description: Programmer / Technical Support Engineer with two or more years professional experience in a Linux / Windows 2003 server / MySQL / SQL Server environment needed for growing telecom company in Southport; customer facing experience a major advantage. A thorough understanding of TCP/IP networks would be beneficial as would knowledge of one or more programming language (PHP, HTML, XML, Perl); though training can be provided. On-going training and development in a team inspired environment is fundamental to the companys philosophy, and as such the successful candidate can expect to broaden his / her knowledge at my clients numerous sites across the UK. Primarily based in Southport which is twenty miles north of Liverpool you will be working in a customer facing support environment and on new development projects. As well as the generous remuneration package the successful candidate will be given their own laptop computer, an annual bonus scheme, free gym membership and a holiday package that increases by one day for every years employment.
