Description: Our Sheffield based client provides information, education and structured support around drugs and alcohol for young people under 19. They provide honest and accurate information with the aim of reducing the risks and harm of drug use. They require an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join their dynamic team.As part of the Treatment Team you will provide a range of interventions to support young people and their families who are experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs. Your responsibilities will include assessments, care planning and the delivery of support to our clients. This will include education, prevention, harm reduction work and structured counselling, principally on a one to one basis. You will support the service manager/team leader to deliver high quality person centred services in line with the Business Plan. The ideal candidate will have proven written and verbal communications skills with the ability to tailor the message to the audience, outstanding organisational skills and a proven track record of working within the sector of substance misuse and specifically with children or young people.Successful applicants will need to under go a CRB check before starting the roleFor further details please contact Andrew on 0114 276 6377.
