Description: On behalf of this exclusive double branched city client, Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor or current partner with a diverse level of experience to take control of the firm’s Family Law department based in East London.This rare opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor or Partner to assume responsibility for undertaking any existing work and to develop this department in line with the firm’s plans of growth. This progressive forward thinking city firm provides an extensive range of legal advice and services to corporate, commercial and private clients, in which client cross-selling opportunities are assured. Prospective applicants must be enthusiastic, forward-thinking Solicitors with demonstrable experience in assisting the development of a similar department. Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will have a current following and will be keen to market the department to the fullest extent. This is an important strategic appointment for this 15 year old firm as this yet to be fully developed department will certainly bring very healthy financial rewards for the right professional who can utilise his or her experience and skills to make this division a success.Current Family Law Partners are encouraged to apply. Role You will be required to: * Take responsibility of the Management of the Family division * Manage your own caseload with a full range of Family law cases. * Handle files from initial instruction through to completion * Have a proactive approach to obtaining new work and promoting the services of the Dept and the firm.Candidate * A minimum of 6-7 years UK (Private Client) Family Law experience. * Some management experience is essential* Proven experience in marketing Dept services.* A current client follow is essential to hit the ground runningSalary - Up to £90,000pa + a healthy commission rate on all billings + Benefits.
