Description: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Data Manager to work in Manchester for a leading clinical pharmacology CRO that specialises in the strategy, management and execution of product development and early phase clinical development and is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for the design, execution and analysis of more complex, early phase pharmacokinetic and related studies. JOB ROLE: The primary purpose and key areas of activity are:*Providing 2nd level management of DM deliverables in assigned studies.*Participating in Business Development activities.*Providing backup for the Section Head, DM.Providing management and delivery of the DM deliverables in assigned studies as the lead DM.*Providing peer review and backup for the lead DM in assigned studies.*Taking part in DM activities,*Acting as mentor to other DMs in assigned studies.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include: *Participating in the management and development of processes, systems and organisation in the department.*Setting up, documenting and executing the DM activities in specific studies ensuring that the specified data quality and documentation is delivered on time according to the agreed plan in cooperation with the project team.*Assisting in execution of the data management activities in specific studies as requested.*Preparing DMs part of proposals and bids.*Meeting with the section head to discuss risk issues and to suggest possible actions to mitigate the risks.*Understanding the assigned studies by reading the protocol and participating in assigned training.*Coordinating and performing the execution of the specified DM activities as per quality system and plans in close cooperation with the project team. *Participating in non study activities as assigned by line management.
