Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician within a state of the art forensic laboratory. This is a challenging opportunity with potential career progression and the opportunity to develop and learn new skills.In this position you will be responsible for stock control, co-ordinating quality checks, preparing reagents and maintaining a strict and thorough laboratory cleaning regime.The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong organisation skills, the ability to communicate clearly and work flexibly within a team. Experience of working in a forensic laboratory is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided. A scientific academic qualification would also be advantageous.If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience and would like to be part of a progressive organisation, we’d like to hear from you.Please note, a flexible approach to working hours will be required as the position will involve working on a shift rota system between the hours of 7.00am-6.30pm.
