This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic STATE-OF-THE-ART Facility in Cambridge! Due to expansion our client is seeking Senior Technicians who posses IAT Membership or equivalent, and Home Office Personal License.This is a role where you will be expected to work to a high standard, caring for laboratory animals in an expert manner, maintaining the highest welfare standards. You would work in close teams with colleagues who share our client's professional dedication to excellence in the ethical care of laboratory animals.A High level of accuracy is paramount to this role, continually striving towards 'Best Practice' and importantly maintaining records in compliance with all Home Office and Health & Safety Legislation.The role would dictate that you have a thorough understanding of Rodent GA Stock and Breeding colony management, and must be able to demonstrate hands - on - approach.You will be able to provide the supervision, motivation and training to a small team of Technicians including organising husbandry and experimental activities. Contribution to and compliance with Sop's, Risk Assessments and maintenance of Staff Training Records will also be part of your key responsibilities within this role along with the ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills between our client Scientific team and the unit team.Our client would encourage furthering your skills and education supporting opportunities for specialisation, promotion and career progression.Benefits also include 30 days holiday, plus 2.5 privilege holiday days and a 36 hour working week.If you have the qualifications for this role please quote reference : LMB08/287 on all communication.
