Description: An e-Commerce product specialist with excellent project management skills is required by this top global IT company. This leading organisation is looking for a technically minded product specialist to work on a variety of interesting and challenging e-commerce projects, liaising with vendors and clients and providing consultancy and pre-sales advice. Youll play a pivotal role in project managing the relationship with external content providers for e-Commerce solutions. Youll also work closely with this organisations clients, overseeing the implementation of e-Commerce solutions and giving consultancy advice in a technical pre-sales capacity. This challenging role offers lots of opportunity for a technically minded individual to really get their teeth into a fascinating and diverse operational and project management role. Youll be given responsibility for producing regular progress reports, overseeing the quality of content provision and ensuring that external suppliers maintain their service level agreements. As a product specialist, youll promote a range of product content related services and create technical specification and support documentation. Youll need 1-2 years experience in a similar product specialist or project management role. You should have some knowledge of business to business integration technologies EDI and XML and an understanding of web technologies. Youll have experience of using project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
