Description: They are a strong and recognised UK business. Due to promotion they are looking for a strong Supply Chain Planner. You will currently be either a Demand Planner, Stock Planner, Assistant Merchandiser or similar. The Supply Planner is accountable for managing line level stock for a dedicated product category, controlling both intake of stock from suppliers and store stock replenishment in line with agreed availability and stock level targets.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Plan and manage purchase order intake considering current stock base, lead time, demand forecasts, promotional activity, supplier reliability and stock holding strategy.- Effectively manage stock for Promotional activities, seasonal stock builds, direct importing, range changes and extra-ordinary purchases.- Control the intake in line with weekly Open to Buy targets and distribution capabilities, prioritising company stock requirements.- Take accountability for product availability and stock levels and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the stock and supplier base.- Work closely with suppliers to maximise stock availability to business against intake plans.(More information available in a Job Description)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRE· Must have minimum of 2 years experience gained within a stock management environment.· Must be assertive, confident and be able to challenge regularly.· Must be highly numerate, analytical and computer literate.Interested to hear more?
