Description: Logistics Planning, Resource & Performance ManagerRole ProfileOur client who is a leading Retail Logistics business based in Northampton is looking to recruit a Planning, Resource & Performance Manager. Reporting into the Operations Manager and working closely with the operations team and the retail stores, you will be expected to plan and forecast daily/weekly/monthly volume into the site to ensure the labour schedules meet demand. You will also be expected to liaise with suppliers and plan daily intake and future anticipated volumes. This is a vital role for the site and the successful candidate will understand the ‘bottom line impact’ that poor planning can bring. This position will suit an ambitious individual who is looking to join one of the leading Retailer’s in the UK. Skills & Experience Ideally from a 3PL, FMCG, Clothing, or Grocery background, you will have experience of planning within a high volume, fast paced logistics environment. You will naturally have strong analytical, numeracy, problem solving, IT (MS Word and Excel are a pre-requisite), and communication skills. Experience of working with planning & modern WMS systems is a real advantage.Client informationOur client is a leading Retail Logistics business.
