Read on to find out more… Right now, you’ll find a Virgin Mobile high street presence in Virgin Megastores up and down the country and, as of last year, in three specialist Virgin Mobile Stores. With these stores we’ve created a unique atmosphere and fresh look which we are now looking to develop in the Croydon area. A unique and fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running the show. It’s a great chance to be involved in creating an exciting retail customer experience. The store will have a distinctive look and feel, with interactive displays showing off Bites and other services, a hands-on approach to trying our phones, and a range of mobile entertainment and lifestyle products. You’ll know what it takes to make it all come alive and how to head up a team that creates a fresh and unique atmosphere. What we’re looking for in an Assistant Store Manager: The Assistant Store Manager will assist in managing this challenging new project. First of all, you’ll help get the store ready for launch. And when things are up and running, you’ll deliver exceptional results through an empowered, developed and motivated team.  You’ll be:A high achiever able to deliver agreed business goals, targets and key performance indicators. Able to support the Store Manager by helping to supervise and coach the team to deliver business requirements.Experienced in managing a small team within a retail specialist sales environment.Able to manage costs and drive revenue to maximise profitability.Friendly and approachable, with excellent people skills.Creative, flexible and forward thinking to ensure you maximise the stores full commercial potential.Eagle-eyed, keeping a watch on competitor businesses, both locally and in a wider sense.Highly organised and an effective timekeeper to ensure key accountabilities are met.To apply:To apply, click on the apply link below.
