Description: The Wine TradeBored of Retail WorkWSET Exams in the BagWINE SALES ADVISOR - BRISTOL One of the countries oldest established Wine Merchants is currently seeking a highly motivated, sales-focused individual, with a good knowledge of wine, ideally to WSET level. Targeted to drive a little short of £1.6 million in this financial year, the Wine Sales team is a keystone of the business. The team focus on building strong customer relationships and a customer focused sales edge is essential for your success. Repeat business through creating and managing one-to-one relationships with our customers is vital. This is a proactive sales role in which you will be calling customers in order to generate sales and repeat business. People buy from people they like and trust, and by building relationships with your customers you will improve loyalty and encourage customers to continue buying. Skills & Attributes required; You must be driven - a self-starter, brimming with enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude. You must be diligent and dogged. You must be someone who doesn't accept 2nd best and who is able to motivate themselves. You must get a kick from setting goals and achieving them. You must have an interest in and preferably a passion for wine.You must be thick skinned and feel more than comfortable on the phone. More than that, you must be able to engage with customers. You must be a good listener and empathetic. You must be organised, tenacious and disciplined. You must thrive in a dynamic environment. You should be competitive, but able to work in a team and contribute as a team member.
