Description: Workforce Development AdvisersSalary to £23,000 pa Fixed term contract to 31 July 2010St Helens Chamber is one of the most successful and influential Chambers, with the highest business involvement rate in the UK. We work closely with local partners to deliver a range of business support and training services to the local community, and we represent the views and meet the needs of our 1,200 business Members.Our core purpose is to improve the local economy and enhance the position of local businesses and people. Awarded “Chamber of the Year 2007”, St Helens Chamber has grown significantly over the last two years and now employs over 150 staff and has a turnover of £10m.Due to the successful delivery of our workforce development contract St Helens Chamber has secured further funding until 2010 to assist in the development of the Merseyside workforce.You will have experience in engaging employers, identifying their training needs and developing appropriate solutions.
