Description: Senior Engineer - CommunicationsMy client, a European high technology group renowned worldwide for its expertise in electronics based defence systems and services, particularly for naval forces now urgently needs to recruit a Senior Engineer. This is a challenging role in which you will take responsibility for the research, design and development tasks associated with each phase of the life cycle from initial customer liaison to support of the product in service. You will provide technical solutions quickly and efficiently to meet the challenging requirements of the customers in the communications market where the timescales from concept to delivery can be 3 months. The role will involve providing technical support both off site in customer facilities and on operational submarines. Ideally you will have working knowledge and experience of antenna design for satellite, land and special applications, general electronic design techniques both analogue, digital and electro mechanical and skills for delegation, motivation and development of junior staff. This role offers a highly competitive salary package. Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
