Description: Our client, a busy North East London Local Authority is currently looking to recruit an experienced ASB Officer to work with tenants and local community groups to create a safe, pleasant and secure environment to live. Working closely with other organisations and using the variety of legal measures that are available you will develop and implement protocols for dealing with perpetrators of anti- social behaviour. Duties will include: Initiating Acceptable Behaviour Contracts and exploring other similar initiatives; serving legal notices to commence possession proceedings; preparing cases for court and giving evidence; seeking Anti Social Behaviour Orders; taking witness statements to support legal action; to give advice to victims of anti social behaviour and domestic violence and to identify scheme improvements that would reduce anti social behaviour in consultation with tenants and leaseholders, the police and wardens. Applicants must have experience of working in an organisation tackling anti social behaviour in a public, private or voluntary sector environment and knowledge of relevant legislation to enable legal action to be taken including presenting such cases at Court.
