Our client, a large Housing Association in South West London are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis.The main purposes of the job are to:·To help ensure that the organisation’s properties are maintained to the highest possible standards, that all repairs are undertaken within the target response times, and that all statutory requirements are met·To undertake pre and post inspection of defects, repairs and void properties·To prepare specifications of work and issue repair orders·To carry out inspections of void properties, prepare specifications of remedial work and issue work to contractors in order to bring the voids up to the correct standard and available for re-letting in the shortest possible time·To meet and liaise with tenants and contractors
