Description: Our client, a leading housing association, is currently recruiting for a public relations officer to join their communications department. The purpose of this exciting role is to support and deliver quality media relations for a comprehensive media strategy. The key responsibilities in this exciting role include: ·Acting as a liaison point with the national and regional media ·Acting as a champion of content for the media ·Liaising with internal clients and suppliers to support the production of internal and external publicity materials ·Supporting the group events management and public affairs plan The successful candidate will have strong editorial and writing experience gained in either journalism, media or HR. Experience of working in a multi tactical media environment and excellent project and people management skills are also essential. The role is based in a fantastic central London location and you will be working as part of a friendly team.
