Description: The ClientMy client is a company that has built its reputation over the last 25 years over the two offices based on commercial knowledge and professional of its staff. This coupled with the local knowledge places them at the top of their peer group in the markets in which they operate. They are a multi disciplinary practice specialising in General Practice within the Commercial property sector. With a strong presence in Planning and Development, Quantity Surveying and Rural surveying, they can offer their clients the widest of professional services. They are now looking to develop another one of their existing departments, the Building Surveying team, to add depth to their already broad spectrum of services offered. The department is currently two strong but contains over 50 years of experience within Building Surveying. They have won many awards and are often called upon to provide Expert witness testimony. They have a broad client base spanning across many disciplines ranging from Schools and Collages, through to developers and utility companies to arguably their main speciality of Retail fit and refurbishment. The Role and the type of person that they are looking for:They are now looking to build on this experience and looking to bring on board a qualified Chartered Building Surveyor to enhance the strength of the team and continue to build their market presence in their core areas. The role (dependant on experience) will consist of the traditional building surveying duties:Condition surveys, Dilapidations, planning and supervising and party walls to highlight a couple of areas. Again depending on experience, there is project management work and this is you will become heavily involved in. You will be hard working and dedicated to working in a small yet perfectly formed team, with passion drive and determination. You will enjoy and thrive on a variety of work where no two days are the same. Due to the nature of the business and the client exposure this is guaranteed to add variety.
