Description: Our client is a leading property adviser to major corporates, property companies, public sector clients and a wide range of investors. They offer property consultancy services and deal with all aspects of property ownership, management and occupation. 3Their 375 staff operate from headquarters in Mayfair London, the City of London, Manchester and Edinburgh and they are a member of the ONCOR partnership which provides an international platform with 220 offices worldwide. The are currently recruiting for a position based in their Edinburgh office and forms part of the Landlord &Tenant strong team of 13 staff with a £1.8m fee target for 2006/07. The team comprises of 2 Directors, 3 Divisional Directors, 4 Surveyors, 4 graduate surveyor and 1 secretaries. With one Divisional Director and Surveyor based in our Manchester office. Their ideal candidate will be an experienced Chartered Surveyor who is capable of handling both L&T and Valuation/Rating work. You will be responsible for dealing with; ·Mixture of retail, warehouse and office instructions ·High levels of client contact ·Full case load responsibility from outset, with a view to winning additional work, particularly from landlord clients, both based in Scotland or with Scottish properties. ·Geographical area is Scotland and northernmost England PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES ·Relationship Building - excellent interpersonal skills, well organised and a high level of self awareness ·Client Focus - being knowledgeable, confident and actively promotes NB values & image ·Standards - takes pride in quality of work, creates processes to improve quality, works to the highest standards and looks to find ways in which outputs can be improved ·Personal Effectiveness - accurate, articulate, strong communication skills, ability to answer intelligently and effective listener
