Description: Our client our looking for an experienced Interim Production Manager to cover a short term contract of 3-6 months. Duties include ensuring that the order book is met through appropriate planning of material and resource utilisation.Use of the Vantage system and material issuedProduction staff and their roles. Glass room, machine room, curing room and production lines. Ensure that the product produced is as per the specification set out in the quality management system. User manuals. Key quality care points. Ensure that appropriate training has been provided in accordance with the specification manuals. Training matrix and individual competencies. Put forth recommendations and implement aspects of lean manufacturing with regards.Responsibility for health and safety on site for all Production staff, goods in & out and all non production staff visiting site.You will have experience of people management and development, experience of budget setting and control, business integrated computer system (ERP), in a manufacturing environment, familiar with health and safety legal requirements, familiar with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 AND BS EN 1279), experience working in a Human Resources environment.HND Business/Management or Manufacturing related qualification
