Description: Working for a well-known company based in Redditch, they are looking for a Materials Controller to join there expanding team. As the Materials Controller you will effectively plan the production/material resources to satisfy the customer requirements.As the Materials Controller you will be responsible for:*Liaising effectively with Purchasing, Goods Inwards and the Production Departments on ensure component shortages are received on time*Responsible for internal / external expediting of outstanding parts & jobs for production requirements*To be the key contact between the Sales Department & Production Department, attend daily meetings*Introduce a standardized method of Production Planning *Responsible for a 6.5 Million budgetAs the Materials Controller you will ideally have:*Previous production planning / purchasing experience essential*Having experience of working to budgets*Ability to chair meetings*Purchasing qualification preferred, however not essential*Good working knowledge of windows based system required---------------------------------Pertemps is an Equal Opportunities Employer
