Description: Content and Applications ManagerRockwell Collins Ltd provides in flight entertainment and avionics solutions to commercial and business jet customers worldwide.The company is looking for Content and Applications Manager.The successful candidate will preferably have a degree level qualification (or equivalent) with some managerial experience within relevant industry or at least 3 years of managerial experience within:-sales or acquisition-customer/vendor account management-project management experience in the airline industryMain duties and responsibilities:-Primarily responsible for the acquisition, development and exploitation of multiple forms of media for use on Rockwell Collins platforms, across all markets-Identifying opportunities that meet our customer needs-Negotiating terms with customers as well as with content suppliers-Developing business models that generate a revenue stream to the Content Services group. -Representing Content Services group’s interests in the region-Developing and maintain excellent relationship with customers and existing content suppliers -Contributing to strategy with reference to all other Content & Services products / services-Negotiating agreements with vendors and managing fulfillments of those agreements-Providing key support to sales team in the EuMEA region, assisting with sales proposals and presentations -Working with Sales to position platform sales from content / marketing perspective-Providing sales forecasting and commitment forecasting, providing accurate figures identifying levels of risk and opportunitySalary: up to £45,000 PALocation: ReadingIf you are interested in working at Rockwell Collins Ltd and you meet the requirements of the role, please forward copy of your CV to the HR department at:recruitment@rockwellcollins.comPlease respond within 28 days of this advert being placed.
