Letters of Credit Specialist. Metals IndustryOur client, an international natural resources company with core business in the production and sale of copper based in central London now requires a Mandarin speaking professional with advanced fluency in the documentation of import and export to join their team. Applications will be considered only from candidates with a strong working knowledge of letters of credit. Key Responsibilities·On a day to day basis, responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate contract execution for all the Company’s Chinese customers. This includes monitoring the dispatch, shipment and delivery of all materials and ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and kept securely at all times·Ensure all the Company’s relevant records including Sage are accurately maintained throughout the contract execution process·Working closely with the Finance Team to ensure the purchase invoices are recorded, monitored and paid in a timely and accurate manner·Ensure the sales invoices are accurately prepared, issued and recorded, and liaise with the Finance Team to ensure they are recorded, monitored and paid in a timely and accurate manner·Provide all necessary support to the Sales and Logistics team, to carry out such other duties, and take on additional responsibilities, as may be agreed from time to time with the Head of Sales and LogisticsProfessional Qualifications/Experience PreferredUnderstanding of International commodities trading, ideally within the metals industryMust be fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin, both written and verbalRussian language skills would also be an advantage but not essentialAttention to detail and accuracyGood IT skills, comprehensive use of Excel, Word and preferably SageWe regret that we are only able to respond to successful applicantsL
