Description: We are acting on behalf of one of the countries leading charities, they are looking to recruit a programme manager to be based at the central Cardiff offices. The job will come with a company car, excellent benefits and competitive salary. Purpose of the role:To develop, deliver and monitor the work plan with clear milestones.To connect care homes across Wales, through the clients website.Develop regional groups in Wales to promote and engage in local partnership working, with a view to improving practice. To work with influential partners in Wales Look to develop an evolving network and database of people concerned about improving the quality of life of those living, dying, visiting and working in care homes To support the implementation of a structured programme of activities in care homes from a preferences perspective. Keep abreast of all policy developments that impact upon the developments of the programme Manage relationships with donors/partners for the programme. Ensure that systems are in place to deal effectively with key areas such as enquiries, delivery logistics, service monitoring and evaluation Person Specification:Experience of working in the care sector Effective and successful project and budget management Negotiation and liaising with external agencies Management of staff Providing Media interviews Design and organising events Design and develop a range of communication materials and resources Ability to communicate using the Welsh Language or willingness to learn (not essential) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent negotiation skills For this and other great vacancies please see freshrecruitmentwales co uk
