Description: Leading Cancer CharityCommunity Fundraising AssistantBased in Central LondonSalary: £18,000 Reference: 30083PGCLOSING DATE: MONDAY 9TH JUNEOur client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Community Fundraising Assistant to assist the Head of Community Fundraising, providing support and backup for voluntary Branches, Fundraising groups, individual fundraisers and Regional fundraisers. The main responsibilities include:*Providing Accurate and prompt administration and acknowledging donations.*Preparing and mailing regional meeting, conference, open day and guest lecture papers.*Dispatching Branch and Fundraising groups mailings*Dealing promptly and efficiently with all queries from Branches and the general public. *Assisting with the organisation of the annual conference, including booking and arranging for delegates, displays, pre Conference function and other arrangements as required.*Deputise for the Branch Support Manager during absences.*Attending and Assisting the annual conference and other events, this will involve the occasional weekend and evening.*Working within approved budgets and plans*Being familiar with data input/operation of the fundraising database and assisting with opening post/administration of donations when required. The successful candidate will have fantastic customer service and communication skills. They will also be a creative thinker with a good eye for detail, hard working and determined. Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
