Description: Our Client is a national fundraising charity championing the cause of people living with disfigurement and visible loss of function by funding research into pioneeringsurgical and psychological healing techniques.Role Purpose:To support the Development Manager in achieving overall fundraising objectives for the organisation, primarily by managing and implementing the grant making trusts fundraising strategy as well as supporting the communications function of the charity.You will:Provide first-class research on all prospectsSupport fundraising activities by developing tailored funding proposals to prospectsAssist in the organisation and implementation of the major donor events programmeDo you have:Demonstrable understanding of grant making trusts and major donor fundraising Knowledge of fundraising database - Raiser’s Edge 7 Familiarity and interest in the UK corporate cultureExperience in production of marketing materials (i.e. newsletters, brochures) and overseeing maintenance of websitesExperience in drafting press releasesFirst class prospect research skills Excellent interpersonal & organisational skillsAttention to detail and accuracy If so, then please email an up to date CV with a cover letter indicating your interest for the role to neelam@charityrs.com quoting job ref: DO/CRS/NSSClosing date: 13th June 2008
