Description: We have an exciting opportunity to join a market leading, reputable organisation based in Canary Wharf, Central London as a Infrastructure Technical Architect. This is a high level design role, providing technical lead for the Technical Architecture and Assurance team. Determining direction and policy for IT practices within the organisation and design solutions to achieve business objectives. Your main responsibilities are to develop IT/IS technical solutions aligned to the IS/IT Strategy, manage technical roadmaps, define IT policies, standards, and guidelines. Work with the business to ensure technical direction is aligned with business requirements, liase with internal and external parties to deliver solutions according to the IT standards and best practices. Be responsible for the technical security model, research and develop accessible and functional business IT systems, provide technical guidance to business units for IT projects, sitting on the change review board and provide general technical governance. You will need to have demonstrated experience in a similar role, have previous experience of being a senior consultant and / or technical authority, possess extensive knowledge and experience of enterprise IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture and systems, project management, procurement and negotiation skills and excellent communication skills and client facing ability.
