Description: Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality ladies outerwear for famous high street retailers.They are currently looking for a Technical Manager to join the team.The ideal candidate must have a tailoring background and be in a senior technical role or technical management role.The role will involve ensuring the smooth pre production process fromorder handover to finished garment, ensuring that the mutually agreedstandards with the customer are implemented accurately into bulkproduction. To liaise with the relevant departments within customer.To represent for fit meetings, supplier conferences and anypre-production meetings with the department. To implement meetingnotesefficiently by following through requests from fit meetings asquickly as possible.To aid the Technical Managers in controllingcritical path.To actively pursue and contribute to research and development of newproducts through comparative shopping, method evaluation and to beinteractive between supply sources.To familiarise yourself with the product prior to meetings and toassist the Technical Managers during the product life cycle.To aid Quality Management Executive in RTM analysis and act upon the findings of both internal and external audits.To be responsible for processing special request samples onbehalf of the department - from request through to receipt ofTo be responsible for processing special request samples on behalf of the department - fromrequest through to receipt of the particular samples.To work within the guidelines of the sharps policy.To assist production Management during the life of a style on all Technical matters.To set standards representative of Contract Seals for all appropriate areas of the business.To audit styles when necessary in the manufacturing units.
