Description: Our client, a leading investment house in Edinburgh, is looking to recruit a Press officer to join its Corporate Communications team. We are looking for excellent communicators to build and develop relationships with journalists, helping the business achieve its desired positioning within the press. You will work alongside the Marketing team to arrange events for journalists, as well as identify subjects for press attention within the business. You will maintain a calendar of press events and write board reports to evaluate press coverage for the business and all third parties. We are ideally looking for people with PR experience, educated to degree level and with an understanding of the investment industry. You will have strong interpersonal skills, be highly organised, with an eye for an opportunity and an analytical mind.
