Description: Our client is a reputable environmental and planning consultancy. Due to business expansion they are seeking a Senior Consultant to join their London Team. In this role you will be expected to make significant contributions to the overall running and effective management of the Company. You will lead and project manage small to medium size contracts commensurate with your ability and skills and provide support on larger projects. You will be proactive in seeking new bid and business opportunities and in managing bids/proposals and securing new contracts. You will also be expected to contribute to health and safety risk assessments on a project basis and mentor staff where appropriate.The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience within the environment and planning sectors. You will be able to take initiative and take responsibility in the absence of more senior staff members and be experienced in working in multi-disciplinary project teams working to tight deadlines and defined budgets. Organised, customer focused, collaborative, flexible, self motivated and excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are also crucial for this role.
