This South Coast law firm with a family friendly feel has offices within Southampton Winchester and the Bournemouth areas. As they have recently won a contract within their Clinical Negligence team, they need to expand their team. This position is a Case Screener / Administrator and the responsibilities will be mainly to assess whether clients have a potential case for Solicitors to meet with in order to assist them with their claim. The role is based heavily on the telephone taking clients through the administration process finding out all details of the case and where they feel a claim is due. It is up to this person to provide a professional, helpful and friendly service to gather all information required and listen with empathy as to what the client has been through and is looking to achieve. The ideal candidate will be either a medical secretary (so that they are used to medical terminology) or a legal secretary from a clinical negligence background or an administrator / customer service person from the medical / legal background. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with strong communication ability to move into an interesting role where you are able to directly assist solicitors and paralegals within the team.
