Part time Support Staff Floating AdministratorAn opportunity has arisen within a well established prestigious law firm in Nottingham city centre for a Support Staff Floating AdministratorPurpose of the Job:To provide absence and workload cover at the Nottingham office for the administration support teams.This is a part time position working 3.5 hours a day between the hours of 07.30 12.30 Monday to FridayPrincipal Responsibilities:To provide absence and workload cover in the Nottingham administration department as advised by the Facilities Supervisor / floater diaryGeneral OfficeThis to include but not to be restricted to:Distribution of mail / faxes / cheques etc. around the building / court runFranking and sorting of mail / couriersPhotocopying inc. collating / duplexing / plan copying / faxing / binding / laminatingRetrieval and delivery of archived material / assist with maintaining database recordsEnsuring that the meeting rooms are set and that the equipment is in working order in advance of bookingsReceptionMeeting and greeting clients and visitorsMaking and amending meeting room / lunch bookings using PCSwitchboard operationBooking taxis and rail travelEnsuring client areas are kept neat and tidy at all times inc. client car parkCarry out regular checks of the meting rooms / ensure sufficient stationery availableCateringPreparation and delivery of light refreshments and lunches as requiredProvide support for No44 the in house caféSet up and clear down meeting roomsPlace orders with the firms catering suppliersUsing the Food Standards Agency guidelines, assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environmentFacilitiesBooking and collection of travel documentationStationery requisitioning and deliveryAssist with internal office movesCarry out minor repairs e.g. changing light bulbs etc.Recording and maintaining the facilities helpdeskSecurityAssist with the security check of the building e.g. covering the front desk whiles the check takes placeArrange court wear as required; its replacing and cleaningTo assist with the training of new floaters and other casual staff in each area as advisedAny other duties commensurate with the post and its responsibilities and dutiesIn return our client offers a salary up to £14,200 pro rata depending on experience and the opportunity to progress within this well established, successful company.
