Description: Quality Assurance Test Analyst ISEB accredited ~ Join established small and totally unique Investment Banking product vendor and IT Consultancy formed by a group of partners with long experience in high performance IT systems in the trading and risk management arenas require a Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join the ever developing team of 10 to work alongside the development team and really take testing to the next level pioneering a formal structure and process past unit testing. The recent further development of a cross-product margin system, targeted at both Prime Brokers and Hedge Funds has seen a huge demand in service and license. You will be mostly based from the office working very closely with the development team and tasked with a wide variety of roles centred around managing the core test pack, adding test cases as new functions are delivered and executing test runs as requested by the development team and automating test procedures. Other important tasks involve Integration by working with clients to install the products, configure the environment and servers, and implement feeds using the Company's proprietary integration layer which supports XML, flat file, and database interfaces. Due to the nature of the team size you need to be adaptable and keen to learn and eventually take on more of a business analyst hat. Excellent communication skills are a must as 2-3 years consistent permanent employment background working in a similar role with experience in EXCEL, SQL (RDBMS Oracle Sybase or MS SQL Server) XML data feeds and strong regression and integration testing expertise. Ideal experience would involve calculation engine experience.
