Description: Our client is seeking a 2/3rd Line Server Support Engineer to provide 8 days cover. The role requires the candidate to have the following:Essential:4 years experience in an IT customer support environment.Extensive knowledge and experience of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Office XP & 2003) and have been qualified or working towards the Microsoft Office Specialist certification.A good working knowledge of FrontPage, Adobe Acrobat, Access, Active Directory management, Internet\Intranet technologies and Citrix, in a corporate environment is also required. Solid knowledge of working within an ITIL environment and ideally certified.Experience, or an understanding of the following would also be advantageous;*Office 2007, including Share Point*Testing, piloting and release of software or systems in an application lifecycle remit.*HP Openview Configuration Management toolset (Radia) or similar technologies. *MSI packaging Apply now for immediate interview and start.
