Description: Excellent opportunity for an experienced Helpdesk Manager to join my technologies client based in the City London, to manage a Helpdesk of 4 support staff. Your role will include (but not be limited to), managing and providing 1st and 2nd Line Support for the office as well as 3rd Line Support of the back-office. In addition to this you will communicate with IT Managers at customer sites as far as their support issues are concerned. Implement and strictly adhere to an agreed SLA with various clients. Managing and producing official documentation works like change controls, monthly reports and other IT systems documents. the successful candidate wil be familiar with operations, troubleshooting of Windows XP desktop machines and Windows 2003 Servers, as well as popular office software and server software. You will need to have solid experience managing third party vendors, suppliers, service providers and telecommunication carriers. Ideally youll also have a good technical understanding of TCP/IP network. Ideally you will be certified in the following Microsoft Certifications: MCP Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment, MCP Implementing, Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure. Installing, Configuring, and Administrating Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Obviously, very good communication and managerial skills are essential.
