Our client requires an experienced server support technician. The successful applicant will have previous experience of providing 3rd line technical server support for Windows NT, 2000 and 2003, as well as: Exposure to CITRIX, Remote Desktop Protocol, PCAnyWhere, VNC, HP RIB/ILO and HP Insight Manager to gain access to servers. Familiarity with Veritas Backup Exec, Netbackup and other commonly used backup solutions software. Experience of SAN attached storage/PowerPath software. Experience of installation/configuration of CITRIX software and the ability to be able to troubleshoot CITRIX problems. Experience of Microsoft Clustering installation/configuration/troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be flexible in terms of working hours and also be prepared to work at other sites should the need arise. Please send CV in the first instance.
