IT Developer / Web Developer - Visual studio 2005, .net 2.0, C#, ASP.net, SQLServer, IIS, XML, XSLT, Commerce ServerOxfordshire, Oxford £32,000 - £38,000 + BenefitsOur client is seeking an accomplished Developer to join the existing team to develop and support applications using Visual studio 2005, .net 2.0, C#, ASP.net, SQLServer, IIS, XML, XSLT, CSS and MS Commerce Server. Initially you will work alongside IT Development staff and a number of business users on significant new projects which will include rebuilding the company’s web presence incorporating Content management and MS Commerce server or developing new online products. You will work within an IT team of 2-4 within the overall IT team of 14. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent working relationships with all departments and be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle. There may be an opportunity to manage projects following the company's structured methodology and coordinate resources from different departments. Candidates should have a degree or equivalent through experience and professional qualifications and will have achieved, or be working towards, MCAD or MCSD. Applicants must be able to demonstrate self motivation, ability to plan, manage own workload, good communication skills and a desire to continue their professional development. Developers will work on different projects and in different teams of up to 10 people from departments across the business to deliver the required business benefits.The successful candidate will take on lead and/or Project Management roles of individual projects where required. Projects will include web sites, Commerce Server, data warehouse, web services, integration with internal systems and client systems, email services and investigation of new technologies and new versions of Microsoft products. Experience will include developing complex systems using Microsoft technologies, c#, object oriented programming, SQLServer, IIS, n-tier architecture, developing MS Commerce Server and a good understanding of business processes.This is an excellent opportunity to work with newer Microsoft technologies in an expanding and successful company.
