Job PurposeUtilising the existing Sales teams, the role will maximise the revenue and marketing reach of a new division of a well established organisation. This division has been set up to provide an additional technology based service to its product portfolio. You will be responsible for managing the communication and information flow between the sales and marketing functions as this product is promoted to its wider group of customers within the retail automotive sector. The role is an integral link between this new division and the wider group of companies to ensure the delivery and operation of a cohesive sales and marketing process, in order to maximise revenue and market penetration into the existing customer base and beyond. Key to the role is building key relationships and maintaining excellent communication channels between the business units. Functions & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for monitoring the overall sales revenues and targets from current sales staff relating to product sales in line with budgeted requirements. Create marketing resources for staff to sell to existing customers. Assist with the Marketing and Promotion of the new products and services, working with Group Marketing to ensure all advertising and promotion is correct and legally compliant. Education of all sales managers ensuring deep product and sector knowledge including competitors and their products. Provide ongoing product training to Sales Representatives through presentations, face to face meetings, and live demonstrations, as well as attending sales meetings when necessary (with sales reps). Production of weekly reports at division and group level. To analyse available data on a regular basis in order to understand performance and recommend improvements. To prepare monthly forecast (including any shortfalls) with relevant corrective narrative, in conjunction with the Regional Sales Managers. Working with the senior team, agree and implement sales targets which reflect business objectives and review periodically applying corrective action as required.Responsible for the recording of revenues from sales representatives. To be involved in the preparation of budgets on an annual basis. Provide resolutions to sales related issues arising by working closely at detailed product level. To assist and join product development meetings in order to achieve key issue resolution. To ensure the Senior Management Team are aware of any issues that may potentially effect the business. To ensure that all company guidelines, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. To take responsibility for your own personal development ensuring your product knowledge, and knowledge of the market, competitors and their products are of an excellent standard at all times. Weekly conference call via telephone (with centre Sales Managers), and centre visits at least quarterly.
