Hosting, Network and Voice Services to businesses, further information can be found at the following link www.intechnology.co.ukThe Project Manager will be required to lead the end to end delivery customer solutions, providing professional project management support to the End Customer, Partners, Suppliers and the wider InTechnology delivery teams. The project manager will work closely with Reading based Managed Voice Services team and Harrogate based managed Data Services Division.The prime objective of the Project Manager role is to deliver customer projects in a timely and cost effective manner. Clear and accurate record keeping and the ability to prioritise workload is key to the success of this role.As a prerequisite the post requires a Project Manager who iswilling to go the “extra mile†to ensure solutions are implemented on time with a high degree of customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Manager duties will include but are not restricted to:Review of customer requirements definition documents and technical designs ensuring that they are capable of implementationBreakdown of projects into work packages, liaison with colleagues, other departments to ensure resources are available to meet required timescales.Formulation of Project plans, Gannt charts etcLiaison with customer representatives and InTechnology Sales teams to ensure customers understand their responsibilities in the overall project. Maintain a central up to date repository of customer information.Ensure that all services and solutions documentation is present and complete as part of the support hand over.Manage and recording of customer meetings, enquires, project risks and escalating issues to the Senior Project Manager.Administer record and update the capital requisitions’ relating to customer installs.Provide weekly internal reports on the status of all Service Delivery projects.Monitor availability of stock relating to customer installs, ensure sufficient equipment is available to meet project timescales.Assist Service Delivery Manager in the definition, modification and documentation of the Service Delivery process.PERSON SPECIFICATIONThe ideal Project Manager candidate will have the followingskills, attributes and experience:Tenacity to see the job through and an attention to detail.High quality interpersonal skills are essential in this customer facing role.Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.The role also requires the project managers to work as part of a team with colleagues, specifically within the department, but also in the wider context of InTechnology and its customers.A background in and an understanding of telecommunication products and services with experience of service delivery an advantage.Capacity to learn about new products and servicesExperience of working within a structured project framework or APM/PRINCE2 qualifications an advantageHOURS OF WORKThe company’s standard working week is 37.5hours. The project manager will be expected to be flexible as customer facing project often require early starts, late finishes or both. Time off In Lieu is granted should overall working week regularly exceed contracted hours of work.The post holder will be required to travel to customer meetings across the UK.Project Manager, Reading, Berkshire
