Description: A 10 month maternity cover as a Reading based HR Manager within a leading Professional Services firm (to start May / June).Interim HR Manager / HR GeneralistAs HR Manager, you will be responsible for the full generalist HR service provision in the Reading & Southampton offices, working closely with 2 other HR Managers to ensure consistency of service provision across the South.You will manage 2 Senior HR Assistants. You will work in close business partnership with a number of key stakeholders across both offices, also having some local responsibility for the other firm service-lines by working in conjunction with the relevant national HR teams based in London.Specifically, you will:·­Manage bi-annual appraisal processes·­Manage regular reward reviews·Manage all employee relations issues·Produce & review relevant MI with key clients·­Develop & deliver L&D interventions ·Coach & mentor individuals as needed ·Graduate & CIPD qualified or equivalent experience/qualifications ·­Proven experience of working in a similar generalist HR role at the manager-level ·­Ability to build strong working relationships with a number of key clients across several businesses ·Excellent client management, communication, leadership and technical skills ·Commercial & pragmatic approach combined with sound legal knowledge and risk management skills
