Description: Job descriptionSociété Générale Corporate and Investment Bank, is the 3rd largest corporate and investment bank in the euro zone by net banking income, present in 45 countries.We specialise in 3 key areas: Euro Capital Markets, Derivative Products and Structured Finance.Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank aims to be a leading European Corporate and Investment Bank, offering excellence of service to its clients, strong profitability to the Société Générale Group and its shareholders and to be an employer of choice for its employees.We currently have three open positions for Trainees to join our UK HR Department to assist our HR teams and to contribute to three key initiatives: HR Administration and New Hire Induction Projecto Providing assistance on our transversal Employee Induction Projecto Participate in various projects designed to improve efficiency of HR processeso Attend all Induction Project meetings and maintain minuteso Assist in maintenance of project plano Carry out research and follow-up tasks as directedo Assist in processing of newly hired staff and in development of MISo Assist the HR Administration team as requestedo Based in Tower HillGraduate Recruitment o Providing assistance in the hiring of Trainees & Graduates (sourced in UK and France)o Assist in the hiring, rotation and counseling of our Graduate International Programme and Graduate Fast Track Programmeo Sourcing Interns from France for Stagiaire and VIE Programmeso Assist with the launch of a UK-based Internship Programmeo Assist in establishment of UK-focused, business-specific Graduate Training Programmeso Participate in team special projects including the Recruitment Project and HR department projects as assigned.o Based in Tower HillGlobal Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income HR Team and 2007 Recruitment Projecto Assist HR Generalist Manager as Requiredo Attend all Recruitment Project Meetings and maintain minuteso Assist in maintenance of project plano Carry out research and follow-up tasks as directedo Assist HR team in preparing candidate offerso Assist HR team in preparing personnel files for new employeeso Assist HR team in administrative taskso Preparation of MISo Participate in team special projects and HR department projects as assignedo Based at Liverpool StreetEach role will report to a senior member of the HR Department (Manager to Director level) and will at all times work under senior supervision for development.Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree with the intention to pursue a career in HR• A plus to have experience in a Financial institutionSkills and Abilities:• Proven analytical, computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills• Lotus Notes and / or PeopleSoft experience an advantageWe are looking for individuals who have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. You must be highly motivated, flexible, analytical and resilient. These roles involve working in a fast paced environment and require individuals who can act autonomously and as part of team.
