Their focus is entirely based on enabling people with illness, infirmity or disability to live as independently as possible in their own homes, enabling them to maintain and improve their quality of life. The Organisation provides services to people with a range of needs including the elderly, people with mental ill health, physical and learning disabilities (including challenging behavior) and those recovering from illnesses. The postholder will be responsible to the Director and the Chief Executive. We are looking for someone who has worked in this type or role before, key skills will be through knowledge of I.T. Sytems i.e. Cold Harbour Systems and ideally CM 2000, you should have flexible working pratices. The ideal candidate should also be a driver, have previous experience of dealing with contracts at a Senior Level, and have a track record of winning and maintaining contracts, and have great business skills. You will implement the organisation's business plan and initiatives, and ensure the continuous improvement of their services. The successful candidate will also represent the organisation at a local level, promoting the work they do and identifying new business opportunities. You will be accountable and responsible for the delivery of all aspects of services within a defined area of operation and for ensuring service users receive a high quality service. You will develop and deliver within set budgets and delegated authority in a cost efficient manner, comprehensive services within the portfolio, with due regard to viability, competitiveness, quality standards, and the needs of their service users and key stakeholders. You will be responsible for forecasting, planning, monitoring and reporting upon budget. You must have experience of managing and implementing change programmes effectively, empowering and motivating staff, managing people and using key performance indicators (KPI's) to ensure objectives are met.
