Description: The RoleLooking for a lucrative and extremely challenging and rewarding job based in the Tax free haven that is Dubai?On behalf of one of our most prestigious clients, we are currently recruiting for a Trade and policy Advisor.The position is a very exciting one and will be based in Dubai.The ideal candidate will be responsible for:Description of Roles & Responsibilities1. Prepare trade and policy analysis reports of the country of engagement 2. Review laws, policy regimes, business incentives, and recommend on its limitations, in particular with respect to:- Investment Promotion- Investment Facilitation- Investment Climate- Their ability to address the needs of specific business sectors3.Develop business models, recommend on management structures and processes for Authorities/Agencies, with special attention to:- Defining the regulatory and business facilitation functions of the authorities- Setting up of one stop shop- Designing facilitation services to be offered by the One Stop Shop- Preparing MoUs between the One stop shop and Government Authorities for both:the offering of facilitation servicesthe regulatory functions of the Authority4.Developing strategies to ensure that the Authority is perceived as a major stakeholder in investment promotion and facilitation in the country5. Draft special legislation and any supporting documentation required in the project development lifecycle.Investment Climate- Their ability to address the needs of specific business sectorsQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: a. Qualifications- Political Economics, International Relations, LLM, or related field- Masters level or equivalent work experienceb. Experience- 6 yrs experience minimum experience working on policy and related ]- International experience in project management is a plus,- Understanding of industry c. Skills- Use of Computer Software- Microsoft Project- Microsoft Office- Language skills- English - Fluent in Written & Oral (Essential)d.
